A catch-all mailbox is one that gathers all the emails sent to nonexistent addresses. For example, if your address is info@domain.com, but someone misspells it and sends an email to inof@domain.com, it will still be received in the catch-all mailbox that you have set up. Just one single mailbox per domain name can have this feature activated and in this way you’ll never miss emails because the other side has an out-of-date address or has made a spelling mistake. The downside of configuring a catch-all mailbox is that you may start receiving plenty of junk messages, but this issue can be solved using an anti-spam protection solution. It is also essential to keep in mind that a mailbox with an activated catch-all functionality cannot redirect inbound email messages to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all e-mailbox without effort if you have a cloud hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager in our custom-built Hepsia Control Panel is full-featured, yet really easy to use, and it will enable you to activate various options, including the catch-all one, with just a few mouse clicks. All the email addresses that you have will be enumerated alphabetically in this section and next to each one you will see a small "Catch-all" symbol. Clicking it once will activate this option, clicking it for a second time will deactivate it. As you can have only one such mailbox per domain, our system will alert you if you already have another one with this feature activated or if you have activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The custom-created Hepsia Control Panel that comes with every semi-dedicated server package that we’re offering will allow you to set up a catch-all email mailbox without effort even in case you do not have much web/email hosting experience. All you have to do to accomplish that is click the catch-all icon, which will be next to each mailbox that you have created using your domain names in the hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section. As you can have only one single mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will warn you if you have already configured a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you’d like to use has email forwarding enabled. In case you decide that you don’t want the feature anymore, you can deactivate it by clicking once again on the same icon. The Email Manager section will also permit you to see your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
